P4V

Portraits for Veterans (P4V) is a project of Engage the Light, a photography workshop and photowalk series for military veterans and at-risk communities based in Lubbock, TX and led by photographer and Army veteran Dr. Tif Holmes. The purpose of P4V is to use a shared love of photography to create positive images of — and to give back to — the veterans in our communities. During their portrait session, veterans have the option of writing down some of their military experiences and having those memories published next to their portrait here on our website and on our Facebook Page.

 

This website is just a small collection of images and words from veterans who have so much to say. Please spend some time here as you can. It is just one way that you can begin to engage with the local veteran community, and yet it is so meaningful.
